CAPTA is pleased to announce that our First Annual CAPTA Directors’ Retreat will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2015.
Our retreat will be hosted by CAPTA At-Large Board Member and Studio C Writing Center Director Hannah Baran and the Studio C tutors at Albemarle High School (2775 Hydraulic Rd. Charlottesville, VA 22901)
Information Session for Prospective Directors: 9:15 am-10:00 am
Prospective Writing Center Directors are invited to join us for an information session from 9:15 am- 10:00 am.
Directors’ Retreat: 10:00 am- 4:30 pm
Current and Prospective Writing Center Directors will gather to discuss topics such as tutor recruitment, student body outreach, tutoring special populations, and partnering with faculty and staff.
Optional Social Event: 5:00 pm +
Join fellow Writing Center Directors’ for a social event in the Charlottesville, VA, area.
