Manuscript Review Process
Tutor Articles
Tutor articles will be reviewed by a JPTSS editor using the checklist in the Call for Submissions. If the article:

This may include virtual tutoring sessions and written feedback. Note that articles typically go through a few rounds of revision, and it can take up to a few months to fine-tune articles for publication.
- Does not meet the criteria on the tutor article checklist, the editor will ask the writer(s) to revise before resubmitting for reconsideration.
Practitioner and Research Articles
Practitioner articles and Research articles will be reviewed by a JPTSS editor using the checklist in the Call for Submissions. If the article:

Revising and Resubmitting
Authors should use editor and reviewer feedback to revise their manuscript before resubmitting for reconsideration. They should include a cover letter with the resubmission of their piece, detailing the changes they made in response to each of the editor and/or reviewer suggestions. The piece may be sent back out to the same reviewers (for practitioner and researcher pieces) to determine if the revisions satisfy their concerns, and if the piece is now ready for publication. Once you have made revisions to your manuscript, please resubmit your manuscript using the button at the top of this page.
